MAP is hosting a literary event with authors Susan Abulhawa and Yann Martel.

Yann will be interviewing Susan on her latest novel 'Against the loveless world, and they will be exploring themes in the book including displacement, loss of identity and the the impact on medical care living under occupation. 

Susan Abulhawa debut novel 'Mornings in Jenin' established her as the most widespread Palestinian author. Ahdaf Souief describes this latest novel as 'A fearless work of imagination and documentary gathering power and depth as it sweeps along.' (Ahdaf Souief)

Yann Martel is known most notably for his novel 'Life of Pi', which won the 2002 Man Booker Prize and was adapted to the screen by Ang Lee. His latest novel 'Son of Nobody' is inspired by Homer's Iliad.
