Programme Assistant (Logistics, Communication & Administration)

Medical Aid for Palestiniansis looking for a full-time Programme Assistant to provide logistics and administrative support to MAP staff and visitors in Gaza. Key responsibilities include work permit, travel, accommodation and logistics support; warehouse management;  hospital liaison; and general programme support.

Major Donor Officer / Development Officer (Major Gifts)

Want to work for a leading humanitarian organisation that provides tangible health and medical support to vulnerable populations?  

MAP is looking for a dedicated Major Gifts professional to join our high-performing Key Relationships Team to help raise ambitious but achievable targets. 

We are looking for a can-do, positive person to manage and develop relationships with High Value Supporters, managing own portfolio and supporting wider team initiatives such as special events.

As a part of Key Relationships Team, you will be responsible for raising major income from individuals, trusts and companies by identifying and cultivating contacts; soliciting and stewarding gifts; and organising bespoke events (including occasional programme visits).

Being a Trustee of MAP is an exciting and fulfilling role. The most effective Boards benefit from individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and skill sets. We are looking for new Trustees with skills and experience in the following areas: public health, community psychosocial services, media, diplomacy, fundraising, finance or international law.

Purpose of the role: To be responsible as part of the Board of Trustees for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, developing the organisation’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with the governing document and legal and regulatory guidelines.
