Together for Gaza 2022
Together for Gaza will take place in 2022 and is open to everyone who would like to support the people of the Gaza Strip and provide them with life-changing medical services.
Penny Appeal and Medical Aid for for Palestinians (MAP), have teamed up to take on a challenge like no other. Together, we’re cycling from London to Whitstable and we encourage you to hop on your bike and join us.
Our carefully planned route has multiple stops, so you can cycle the full route or join in at different stages. If you’re up for the challenge, the full route is an impressive 112km from Dulwich Park to Whitstable or you can join us on the 67km half route, which begins in Wrotham. We also have a 12km family fun route planned for those with kids wanting to show their love for Palestine, going from Canterbury to Whitstable.
Whichever path you choose to follow, you’ll be cycling for those in need and that is certainly something to shout about! Spread the word and let all your family and friends know all about Together for Gaza and together, we can change lives.

Full route 112km – Registration fee: £25, Fundraising goal: £500
Half route 67km - Registration fee: £20, Fundraising goal: £350
Family route 12km (admits one adult and one child) - Registration fee: £15, Fundraising goal: £200
Limb Reconstruction Project:
Together for Gaza is raising funds for the Limb Reconstruction project, which provides treatment for those who have suffered severe limb injuries caused by gunshot wounds, shrapnel damage and other violent attacks in Gaza.
This project has the potential to prevent life-long disability and heal injuries before they lead to debilitating amputation. Signing up for Together for Gaza could help provide the screws, pins, bone substitute putty and frames that surgeons need to carefully rebuild and reinforce fragmented bones. With enough support, we could even bring a team of surgeons from the UK to Gaza to provide skilled training and work alongside local teams on complex reconstruction surgery, Insha’Allah.
By stepping up to take action for the less fortunate, you could be aiding in developing and delivering transformative limb reconstruction treatments in Gaza – so don’t wait another minute!
