Virtual London Marathon 2021

On October 3rd 2021, the London Marathon will be holding it's biggest ever event with 50,000 people taking part in the iconic event in London and an additional 50,000 people taking part from wherever they are, allowing so many more people to get involved and enabling charities everywhere to raise more money for vital causes.

Be part of the biggest marathon ever and secure one of MAP's place in the Virtual London Marathon 2021. By taking a virtual place you will have 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds (from 00:00 to 23:59:59 BST) to complete the full 26.2 miles! You can also take part however you want to, whether you choose to run, walk or jog or other – making the event the most inclusive London Marathon ever!

You can take part in the event alone, or share the event with friends and family by getting them to sign up too! Please be aware that places are limited, and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Important details to note:

• Entrants must be 18 or over on Sunday 3 October 2021
• All 26.2 miles must be completed on Sunday 3 October 2021
• The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon virtual event is not held on closed roads
• Participants need to observe the current government guidance on social distancing during the event
• The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon app, powered by TCS, requires the participant to enable GPS to track their 26.2 miles
• Tracking information will be used to produce the individual certificate unique to the participant
• Runners are responsible for their own nutrition and hydration during the event
• All participants will be asked to upload proof of their time and official results will be published
