Aimee Shalan, Chief Executive of Medical Aid for Palestinians, gives an update on MAP's Emergency Response Appeal (below).
The threat from COVID-19 is dangerously higher for Palestinians due to their living conditions, lack of access to healthcare and also high rates of chronic malnutrition among Palestinian women and children. Our COVID-19 Emergency response has been able to provide urgently needed items via our local partners working with us closely to monitor the situation in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza and Lebanon.
