Video: MAP's first medical mission to Gaza in 17 months

Dr Andy Ferguson, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)'s Director of UK Programmes, gives an update on MAP's limb reconstruction mission to Gaza – our first mission in 17 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Graeme Groom, a senior orthopaedic surgeon, and Tim Goodacre, a senior plastic surgeon, joined Andy to work alongside the local limb reconstruction team for two days of visits to review patients at an outpatient clinic, and three days in theatre conducting surgeries.

We hope to restart the regular running of these vital missions. Please consider giving a donation today to support our limb reconstruction project, and MAP's other projects that are essential to the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.
