In Gaza you:

Amany’s Story

When the Israeli military ordered civilians in northern Gaza to evacuate to the south, Amany’s husband, a paramedic, was killed. She had no choice but to flee with no financial support.

Amany explained, “Being displaced means there is no water. You can’t wash your hands or clothes. You don’t have Mariam relies on the mobile clinic to access essential care for her 17-year-old son. She explains, “The mobile clinic team has been incredibly supportive. My son, who has clean water to drink and might have to drink dirty water, which can make you sick or even kill you.”

With support from MAP, ShelterBox and our local partner the Social Development Forum, Amany received water through MAP/our daily water trucking activities.

More than one million refugees are living in camps and dilapidated shelters after Israel’s military assault forced them to flee their homes. In 2024, our Water, Sanitation And Hygiene (WASH) programme became the second largest provider of safe drinking water to displacement camps.

Supporting Children Affected by Atrocities

Medical Aid for Palestinians’ Solidarity Polyclinic is one of the few remaining lifelines in a healthcare system that has been systematically dismantled by the Israeli military. The clinic offers vital medical aid and comprehensive health services including physiotherapy and mental healthcare.

Asmaa, who facilitates mental health support the Polyclinic, shares her experience:

In the West Bank you:

337,193 people were reached with emergency interventions, such as medical supplies and food vouchers, across Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron Area C communities, Jordan valley Communities, Jenin, Tubas, Qalqilia, Tulkarem, Nablus and Jericho.

Urgent Care in the West Bank

Our emergency interventions reached almost 45,000 people, reinforcing the resilience of health services and ensuring ongoing and critical support to communities in need.

As violence escalated throughout 2024, we released prepositioned medical supplies to hospitals in hotspot areas. As access challenges increased, we worked closely with hospitals and expanded delivery to new locations and helped establish urgent care centres. We provided primary trauma care training for health workers and first aid training for community volunteers, ensuring readiness at every level of care.

Thanks to donations from amazing supporters, and our teams and partners on the ground – we were able to provide supplies and as well as prepare stockpiles of vital supplies, so that we could respond quickly when needed. Quick responses saves lives.

In Lebanon you:

Palestinian refugees are excluded from accessing the Lebanese public health system, meaning Medical Aid for Palestinians’ community midwifery services in refugee camps here are critical.

Our adaptable, community-embedded approach ensures that mothers and children most at risk of harm continue to receive the care and support they need during times of crisis.

Israel’s attacks on Lebanon resulted in widespread destruction, thousands of casualties and mass displacement. This left families – including Palestinian refugees in camps across the country – seeking protection in both formal and informal shelters. We responded with 10 emergency medical missions between October 2024 and March 2025.

Thank you for your unwavering support.
