Celebrate with a facebook fundraiser

Set up a Facebook Fundraiser and ask your friends and family to donate the cost of a present, drink or card and help MAP continue its vital work.

The global coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on all our lifestyles and has changed the way people connect and socialise - including how we celebrate birthdays. With a virtual fundraiser for MAP, you can still support a charitable cause from home.

You can now set up a Facebook Fundraiser for your birthday directly from your Facebook page. It is quick and easy to share, and you can ask your friends and family to make a donation via Facebook instead of buying you a gift. All the money you raise will go directly to MAP and its medical programs.

You can set up a birthday fundraiser by clicking here or you can follow these simple steps. 

1. Log onto your Facebook news feed and on the right hand menu, click on Fundraisers.
2. On the left you can click on Raise Money – or you can click on Nonprofit or Charity.
3. Select Medical Aid for Palestinians from the list.
4. Choose a cover photo, and you can also add a personal message for your fundraiser.
5. Click Create and get fundraising!
