نشرت مجموعة من المؤسسات البريطانية العاملة في المجال الانساني التنموي وحقوق الإنسان والداعمة لحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني بيانا يعبر عن قلقهم البالغ من تهديد الحكومة الإسرائيلية بضم المزيد من الأراضي الفلسطينية. هذا وقد أكدت الحكومة البريطانية اكثر من مرة ، أن الضم "لا يمكن أن يمر دون اعتراض". لكن البيان اشار ان هذا التصريح غير كافي بل يزيد من شعور الفلسطينيين ان المجتمع الدولي قد تخلى عنهم لذلك هناك حاجة ماسة من الحكومة البريطانيه على تقديم توضيح بالخطوات الهادفة التي ستتخذها رداً على خطة الضم.
