This special Iftar dinner promises to be an unforgettable night, featuring delicious Palestinian dishes, irresistible knafeh from South London's fantastic Palestinian-owned Bunhead Bakery and a masterclass by the wonderful Dabke Gathers.

What is an Iftar?
Iftar is the fast-breaking evening meal, eaten after sunset during Ramadan.
What is Dabke?
Dabke translates to "stamping of the feet, and is a traditional folkdance from the levant region. It is an expression of unity and love and is performed at Palestinian celebrations like weddings. More than ever, the dance has become an important expression of Palestinian identity.
Do I have to be Muslim to attend?
Everybody is welcome, whether you’re Muslim or not. Prayer spaces (gender segregated), and a bathroom for wudhu will also be available for those in our community observing Ramadan.
What is included in the ticket price?
Your meal is included in the price (fully vegetarian, and largely vegan), and a special Dabke masterclass led by Dabke Gathers.
