Palestinians are facing a growing public health emergency. Hospitals lack the supplies, staff and infrastructure needed to respond.
This emergency is being driven by occupation, blockade, bombardment, displacement and starvation. In Gaza, Israel’s forced displacement of Palestinians has caused overcrowding, poor sanitation and unsafe living conditions, and disease is spreading. Primary healthcare services are stretched to their limits, with nowhere near enough support to meet growing needs.
Delivering critical health and sanitation support
- Bringing healthcare to where it’s needed: our clinics, including mobile clinics, bring primary healthcare directly to communities who are denied access to permanent healthcare facilities and cut off by violence, Israeli checkpoints and displacement.
- Stopping the spread of disease: our teams work with communities to improve sanitation and hygiene to stop the spread of preventable illnesses.
- Emergency medical aid: from first aid to urgent care, we support hospitals and clinics responding to ongoing crises.
- Improving access to save lives: we help restore healthcare systems, ensuring people get the care they need, when they need it.
- Building resilience through care: every clinic, hygiene kit and medical supply delivered helps communities stay healthy and strong under extraordinary pressure.
