It's hard feeling powerlessness in the face of international indifference and Stride really helped counter that for me.

Stride is BACK with one of our biggest challenges yet! This time, we stride for the Olive Harvest. From 01 – 31 October, virtually journey across 195km in Palestine, with every kilometre turning solidarity into action.

This October marks three years into Israel’s military offensive on Gaza and the devastating loss and destruction it has brought to Palestinians. Across Palestine, destruction has encompassed the land itself, with settlers continuing to uproot and destroy Palestinian olive trees that have stood for generations.

Yet, just as Palestinians continue to rise despite all that has been destroyed, the Olive Harvest remains a powerful symbol of resilience, connection and rootedness.

This October, we stride in solidarity with Palestinians and their enduring connection to the land. Whether you walk, run, cycle, push or split the distance collectively with teammates, every mile helps to raise vital funds.

As you make your way across the map of Palestine on your fundraising page, you’ll discover more about the places you’re passing through, with stories and snapshots of the land waiting for you at each milestone.

We stride together for justice, for hope, for Palestinians.

The money raised from this event will go to help support our medical projects supporting Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.

How do I take part in Stride?

This is a virtual challenge - meaning you can take part anywhere, at any time, and at any intensity. You could chose to walk on a treadmill, run or cycle around your local park, go on scenic hikes, or a blend of anything you like that suits your accessibility needs.

You can even split the distance collectively with teammates – it’s up to you. Log your distance on your fundraising page manually or with the Strava app, and track your progress.

As you move along our virtual map, you'll reach milestones and receive stories from our projects and our digital Stride stamps for your socials.

How MAP will support you

We greatly value your support and will help you every step of the way. Please feel free to contact us anytime for advice and assistance with your fundraising. We are here to help!

You'll receive from us:

  • A bespoke event pack with an FAQ and helpful fundraising tips to reach your target.
  • A limited edition t-shirt once you receive your first donation to your page.
  • A chance to connect with other striders in your area via WhatsApp.
  • One-to-one fundraising support.
My favourite part of Stride was the sense of collective movement. Being part of the group chat and following everyone’s progress made it feel bigger than any individual page. The campaign reinforced for me how awareness and consistency translate into impact.

One day, I went on my favourite walk and the sun was shining. I remember feeling so happy and lucky. I then received the milestone email about a little boy who lost his leg who said how he couldn't wait to be able to walk again. It really hit home as to why I was doing the stride for MAP.
