Noor takes on New York for MAP

Noor Bibi is running the New York Marathon 2018 to raise money and awareness for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

Noor is a British-Palestinian who grew up between London and Kuwait. She has been a supporter of MAP for a long time and wanted to represent us at an extra-special event. Having a MAP presence at the New York Marathon for the first time proved the perfect opportunity.

Noor says, “Running 26 miles and the battle that I will go through not just for myself but for Medical Aid for Palestinians is something close to my heart and makes me feel more alive. When things try to stop me, I will keep moving, when my exhaustion rises, I remember the daily pain Palestinians go through and that just makes my strength rise.  My pain is only temporary.  Each time I run I know that I am one step closer to helping those people through the money I raise.

Noor is aiming to raise £4,000 by running the marathon on 04 November 2018.  If you would like to sponsor Noor you can do so via her Justgiving page.

Best of luck, Noor, and thank you for all your support!
