Palestinian women living under Israel’s military occupation and as refugees face unique health challenges worsened by violence, displacement and limited access to care.
Through tailored services, we support women to take charge of their health at every stage of life, even in the most challenging environments.
- Breast and gynecological cancer treatment and early detection: Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Palestinian women. We support women with access to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care, working to catch cancer early and save lives. We are also the only organisation providing life-saving chemotherapy in Gaza.
- Safe, compassionate maternity care: from prenatal checkups to safe deliveries, we help women access the care they need for healthy and safe pregnancies and births.
- Women’s health and hygiene: we support hygiene and menstrual health through improved water, sanitation and hygiene services, and family support.
- Community midwifery for refugees: our midwives provide the only home-visiting midwifery service in Lebanon’s refugee camps. We provide critical care, education and support to expectant and new mothers, ensuring safer births and healthier starts for newborns.
