“I didn’t imagine I’d walk again”

Ahlam is a 70-year-old Palestinian refugee who lives in Al-Buss refugee camp in Tyre, South Lebanon. A few months ago, she fell down the stairs and broke her hip. The doctor told her that she needed a hip replacement.

Developing physiotherapy care for Gaza’s youngest generation

This summer Sioned Davies, Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist at the Countess of Chester Hospital, and Colin Hamilton, Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist at Cambridge University Hospitals, joined MAP in Gaza to provide training to 32 local physios working with children and new born babies.

Training physios to improve care for Palestinian burns patients

Two physiotherapists from Alia Hospital's Burns Unit in Hebron, Amin and Farouk, recently took part in a MAP-supported training to develop their skills and knowledge for burns patients.
