طفرة فيروس كورونا "دلتا" تنذر بمفاقمة التهديدات لسلامة عمّال الصحة الفلسطينيين
ينذر وصول طفرة فيروس كورونا "دلتا" إلى الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة بمفاقمة الأزمة التي يعاني منها النظام الصحي الفلسطيني جرّاء هشاشة وتقسيم وعدم الجاهزية التي يمر بها، كما ينذر وصول الطفرة شديدة العدوى بزيادة مخاطر السلامة والصحة النفسية بين عمّال الصحة الفلسطينيين الذين يعانون منذ بداية الجائحة من الإجهاد والقلق.

قال ممرض ذو رتبة متقدمة في مستشفى الرنتيسي بغزة: "كنا أمام كارثة وشيكة: نظامنا الصحي مقسّم وهشّ. أوضحت الجائحة آثار 14 عاماً من حرمان القطاع الطبي من التنمية واضطررنا لتعلم كيفية احتواء فيروس معدِ في مدينة محاصرة في ظل ما كان لدينا من موارد وامكانيات محدودة."
