في سبتمبر / أيلول ، أطلعت جمعية العون الطبي الفلسطيني (ماب) لجنة الأمم المتحدة المعنية بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة ، قبل استعراضها للتقدم الذي أحرزته إسرائيل في تنفيذ اتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة ، التي صادقت عليها في عام 2012، جلستين افتراضيتين مع أعضاء اللجنة ، استعرضت فيها ماب كيف يواجه الفلسطينيون ذوي الإعاقة في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة انتهاكات جسيمة لحقوقهم الإنسانية نتيجة لسياسات إسرائيل وممارساتها كقوة احتلال.
